Welcome to Fantastic Top Fives with Wyrd & Wonder!

Every Monday throughout Wyrd and Wonder, we’re going to recommend a fantasy read in five words.

This week, we’re looking at our favourite fantasy reads since the last Wyrd & Wonder – and I’ve been especially cruel and made everyone pick just the one. We’re blending Wyrd & Wonder’s Fantastic Top Fives prompt with their five-star reads in five-words prompt from previous years, because it’s fun, ok?

Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide to the Care & Feeding of British Dragons sound like it would absolutely be up my alley. Im going to have to check it out.

    Hallo, Hallo,

I keep seeing “Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide to the Care & Feeding of British Dragons” mentioned just about everywhere during #WyrdAndWonder; I have NO CLUE how I missed this gem releasing but I’m about to see if my library has a copy! I just decided it has to go on my stretch goals of what I’m reading this month!! lol A niche I’ve taken to exploring more in recent Wyrd And Wonder years is Fantasy Romances; in fact, Tuesdays this month are dedicated to that pursuit – so thank you! I needed that extra nudge and your Five Word Reviews are wickedly intriguing!

Esp the one which goes “what did I just read?” I took a hard pass on that one – just not my cuppa but the review was absolute brilliant!

As an aside – In “The Stardust Thief” are there any potential trigger/content warnings I should be aware of?! I love the Jinn myself but am oft disappointed – either for content or violence or the ways in which the stories unfold!? And, for “The Bachelor’s Valet” – I have only heard in name only about Jeeves & Wooster? What does that refer to actually that I might understand?! Just lost me. Would have checked out “The Moon Goddess” but Celeste @ Literary Escape already mentioned the CW and that’s a hard pass for me, too for those reasons. *le sigh*

Glad to have the Hive back this year!
