Influx Press Launch Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign For Relaunch
Here at the Fantasy Hive we are huge fans of independent presses, so when Influx Press went on indefinite hiatus at the end of 2022, we were devastated.
Over the years since their founding in 2011 by Gary Budden and Kit Caless, they have published a wide range of truly amazing books. From cult favourites like Gareth E. Rees’ psychogeographical explorations of the Weird and Rob True’s psychedelic noir horror In The Shadow Of The Phosphorous Dawn (2021), to big hitters like Eliza Clark’s Boy Parts (2020) and Percival Everett’s The Trees (2022), to their ongoing heroic reissue programme that has slowly been bringing all of Joel Lane’s seminal work back into print, they have published some of the most exciting writing out there, regardless of genre.
Fortunately, in 2024 Influx announced their hiatus was over, and they’ve been slowly getting back to doing what they do best – publishing some of the most exciting and innovative literary, speculative and weird fiction you’ll ever read. And now they’re announcing their exciting new plans for 2025, when Influx will be properly relaunched by original founding member Gary Budden with a flashy new logo and all systems go!
Influx have announced a truly thrilling line up for 2025, with 12 books, ranging from exciting new voices to reprints of Hive favourites Joel Lane, Malcolm Devlin and Elizabeth Hand, plus a fetching line in Influx merch.
Many of these titles have gone straight to my personal most anticipated new releases and reissues lists for the coming year.
But they need our help to do it.
To that purpose, today they are launching their new Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund their next year of publishing. So check out the Kickstarter on the link below, share it around, and if you can please do support them!
