The Beast of Nightfall Lodge by S.A. Sidor – COVER REVEAL
Back in May, our friends at Angry Robot Books gave us an exclusive sneak peek of the first chapter of S.A. Sidor’s Fury From the Tomb. Described as a “fast-paced Indiana Jones-style adventure” featuring mummies, grave-robbing ghouls, vampires and evil monks, naturally the first book of the pulpy ‘Institute for Singular Antiquities’ series appealed to a LOT of our readers.
The book’s hero, Rom, returns in February 2019 in a monster-filled sequel, The Beast of Nightfall Lodge, in which Rom and his team of adventurers are hired by a mysterious explorer to join in a hunt for a monstrous beast. Travelling across mountainous snowy tundras, Rom and his friends must discover the nature of the monster while dodging mad doctors, hunters and wild, wild weather.
Without further ado, here’s the cover for the upcoming The Beast of Nightfall Lodge!
Sidor is a master of pulp fiction, and the cover (by Daniel Strange) encapsulates that perfectly.
Want to know more about the book? Here’s the official synopsis:
When Egyptologist Rom Hardy receives a strange letter from his old friend, the bounty-hunting sniper Rex McTroy, he finds himself drawn into a chilling mystery. In the mountains of New Mexico, a bloodthirsty creature is on the loose, leaving a trail of bodies in its wake. Now, a wealthy big game hunter has offered a staggering reward for its capture, and Rom’s patron – the headstrong and brilliant Evangeline Waterston – has signed the team up for the challenge. Awaiting them are blizzards, cold-blooded trappers, remorseless hunters, a mad doctor, wild animals and a monster so fearsome and terrifying, it must be a legend come to life.
