As some of you may know, Jonathan Smidt has been hard at work clickity-clacking away on the sequel to his debut novel, Bone Dungeon, which he released last year. A darkly charming tale of skeletal monsters, heroic (and not-so-heroic) adventurers, and evil necromancers, Bone Dungeon was (and is) a fine example of LitRPG dungeon core at its best.

The audiobook – produced by LitRPG fan-favorite studio Soundbooth Theater – was released last month and is going down a storm with listeners, rightly so. Still, fans of book one are loudly clamoring for a sequel.

Now, the time has finally come to reveal that sequel. Behold: Infernal Bones, book 2 of the Elemental Dungeon series!

Following the theme set by the first book, the cover for the second again showcases the entrance to a dungeon. However, while Bone Dungeon’s cover revealed the entrance to the Bone Dungeon, Infernal Bones’ cover is very different. The cover is meant to tease some of the content, and big reveals, inside, while giving readers an immediate understanding that things in book two are going to get a tad…. chaotic ?.
